Even in the days of Mozart, musicians liked to experiment with instrumental orchestration. Siegfried Schwab used this approach to arrange the popular Mozart trio, consisting of the movements Allegro – Menuetto – Adagio – Menuetto – Rondo, for chamber music ensemble. The bass part has been converted into a guitar part; that way the arrangement is accessible to all guitarists interested in Mozart, whose genius also shows in the Trios KV 439, but this time through chamber music. Instrumentation: flute, clarinet in Bb (cor anglais, viola) and guitar KV 439b
