The 22 easy duets are aimed at older beginners and intended as a method of ensemble playing. They can be played with 2 recorders, but also with oboes, clarinets, horns or trumpets. The pieces are in progressive order and especially suited for elementary rhythm training. The little exercises begin with easy times and note values (semibreves, minims, crotchets), with quavers and dotted notes being added bit by bit. Suited as a supplement to every instrument method and as sight-reading exercise. Instrumentation: 2 descant recorders; flute, oboes, clarinets, trumpets, horn ad lib.
